About Me   About Me
Yama Enayat was a diploma graduate from Economy and Business Administration College in 2001 and served the initial part of his career in Kabul Afghanistan with international NGO’s as well as undertaking assignments from the United Nations World Food Program. Since May 2005 he is assigned as a Training Assistant to the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan. He is also leading a group of youth at an NGO called YouthamaGlobal (Youth Assistance and Mainstream Activities) which is founded by him in 1999 as a Local NGO, when Yama was a student of high school in Pakistan and lately in May 2006 become an International Volunteer Organization.

He provides different managerial, leadership and technical trainings within the United Nations in Afghanistan and is particularly providing Culture Briefings to the new arrivals from the international communities to Afghanistan. He is very much interested in working for and with youth and he takes an active part in providing HIV and AIDS information through awareness, protection and prevention trainings on HIV and AIDS, although he does not have a medical background.

Yama Enayat is also an active member of other youth volunteering organizations, such as Liberal Youth South Asia (LYSA), and the Global Youth Coalition on HIV and AIDS (GYCA).

With regard to his character and quality, Yama is high-spirited, enthusiastic, and lively. He loves adventure, change, exploring new territory, and is not happy confined to the same safe, familiar, secure little world all the time. He has a strong restlessness and yearning for something greater than anything he has yet experienced, and he often live in his dreams and visions for the future.

He tends to believe that the grass is greener somewhere else and he like to keep moving, either literally or figuratively. Idealistic and optimistic, he always expects something better ahead. He has great faith in life and bounce back quickly from disappointment and failure.

He is friendly and outgoing and has a great sense of fun and playfulness. He is also philosophically minded and often quite outspoken about his convictions and beliefs. Sometimes he gets carried away with his enthusiasm of the moment and he tends to exaggerate.

He has an innate distrust of groups and/or a cynical attitude toward society that may leave him feeling out of step and unable to participate in activities with his peers. Overcoming a sense of aloofness and alienation from others is an important task for him.
