Hello TIG members!
My name is Ellen Martin, I am the Research and Resource Development Assistant for the TIGed program. I am thrilled to be a part of an organization as innovative and positive as TakingITGlobal.
To tell you a little bit about myself, I am located in Ottawa as I attend the University of Ottawa studying International Development. I have always had a passion for global social issues - so what better than studying it day to day? Throughout my short life I have always been very involved in a variety of different charities and student lead initiatives. I believe in the power of youth which I think TIG captures beautifully.
When not in class or at TIG, you may find me at the pool (I may have been a fish in another life), dancing, exploring the wilderness or taking on new adventures.
