About Me

I have seven years experience in development work with special interest in community development programs. I have carried out interventions covering research and Behaviour Change Communication activities/IEC development, capacity building and media programs on issues of community development, Reproductive Health, Violence and HIV/AIDS. I have also been responsible for maintaining sustainable relationship with stakeholders involved in these intervention programs. My intervention activities covered Lagos, Edo, Delta, Ogun and Bauchi state.

I manage community development programmes in Nigeria Youth Aid Programme (NYAP) Lagos. I am responsible for developing the unit work plan, interpreting project activities and translating them into interventions as well as documenting reports of interventions carried out. I have led research teams on projects targeting adolescent reproductive health and HIV/AIDS/STIs.

While managing these projects, my skills in delegation, time management, advocacy, monitoring and evaluation have increased tremendously.

I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology from the University of Calabar.A native of Akwa-Ibom State in Nigeria. My skills, capability and knowledge have been enhanced through various trainings and courses to increase my competence in my profession.

My skills include but not limited to possession of excellent time management and good team spirit to achieve target. This is combined with excellent written and oral communication skills, which have afforded me the ability to write proposals and reports. I am proficient in software programs. I am also proficient in Efik, Ibibio, Yoruba and English language.
