Elias D'eis is a Palestinian Christian from Beit Sahour. Elias graduated from Bethlehem University in 2001 with a degree in Travel Agent Management, and went to work as a travel consultant for a local travel agency. During the Intifada he directed his vision and work towards peace and reconciliation, and has since for several NGOs as a youth leader and peace activist, coordinating activities at a grassroots level. He has also participated in peace conferences in the USA, Japan, Italy and Sweden, and with the United Nations.
Elias now works at Holy Land Trust in the Travel & Encounter Department, organizing the logistics for the people who come to raise their awareness about the situation in this land, to understand the core of the Palestinian–Israeli conflict, and to learn more about our culture and tradition by face-to-face meetings.
