 About Me |
I am a junior student from Asia Pacific College (http://www.apc.edu.ph) taking up a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Information Technology with Specialization in Systems and Software Engineering. I am currently a new member of the Youth Volunteers for Sustainable Development. I am also currently involved in a project (e-congress) for computerization of the Legislative Library of the House of Congress of the Philippines. This project is in fulfillment of my course requirement.
My interest is mainly on open source development. Some open source projects that i have completed so far are; LFS and BLFS (Linux From Scratch and Beyond Linux From Scratch), shutdown push button with LED, sms voting application and some GDM themes. I am targeting basic robotics as my next project for my spare time.
I love to explore the extensive power of IT and use it for myself and for other's benefits. Web browsing, music, chatting and movies are my favorite past times. Anne Rice, J.R.R. Tolkien and J.K. Rowling are my favorite writers.
