My work experiences include working with young people and communities through the local media (ABS-CBN Davao), NGOs (Mindanao Commission on Women and Technical Assistance Center for the Development of the Rural and Urban Poor), in the academe as instructor (University of the Philippines in Mindanao and Ateneo de Davao University) and the government (Sangguniang Kabataan Federation in Davao City and Office of Congressman Teofisto Guingona III). In college, I served for two consecutive terms as University Student Council Chairperson. I was also the Team Captain of our debate team. I am presently taking up my post-graduate studies on Public Management at the University of the Philippines Open University. I am committed to efforts which inspire and empower young people so that they become better infuences to their families and communities. I am married to John Quineth Rodriguez. My husband, King, is a digital artist. He is very supportive with my advocacies and efforts in volunteerism. You may view his work thru: www.kingworkz.co.nr. Rrecently, I made a presentation on Teaching Democracy and Human Rights to the Youth in one of the workshops at the 5th World Movement for Democracy. I participated in the assembly after my piece on democracy won in the international essay writing contest organized by the World Youth Movement for Democracy: www.wymd.youthlink.org. I would like to meet friends from different cultures who believe in the significance of democracy in our history, in our present and our future. Daghang salamat (thank you). (",)
