 About Me |
Founder and President of Peace Child International - an organisation dedicated to 'empowering young people' to promote peace, human rights and sustainable lifestyles - through artistic performance, youth-created books and teaching materials and youth-led development - community improvement projects designed and managed by young people. My wife, Rosey, dreamed of marrying a writer or a diplomat - and I have tried to be both, while trying, most to being a good father and husband, and son, brother, uncle etc. These roles reflect my priorities in life and in work: for in empowering young people, we are looking to enable youth to become 'equal partners' with older people - and ensure that decisions taken do not involve them in wars or unsustainable activities that will result in life being worse for them.
