I was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. I came to Toronto, Canada at 18 years of age to study International Studies and Economics at the bilingual Glendon College of York University. In September, I am going to start my master's program in Local Economic Development at the University of Waterloo.
I am a:
1)believer in civil society and what people can achieve when in solidarity.
2) advocate of the empowerment of people in every aspect of life.
3) believer in participatory institutions.
4) opposed to any type of discrimination and oppression.
