 About Me |
Lucie is passionate about youth leadership development and empowering youth to realize their potential. She has wide experience inspiring and engaging youth from different cultures in activities that have a positive impact on society through her work with TIG, UNICEF, and AIESEC.
Lucie has lived - studied, and worked in several countries in Europe and the USA, and now calls Canada home. She has a Masters in Business Management from Silesian University in the Czech Republic and worked as a change management project coordinator for one of the top 5 consumer goods company in Europe.
Inspired by student activism in her university days throughout AIESEC, Lucie joined later UNICEF Canada as a volunteer and is a frequent speaker and workshop facilitator in the area of global development issues. Her passion for working with youth was a demonstration of her commitment to work with TakingITGlobal and to each of the student participants in various opportunities (Microsoft Asia Pacific Innovative Student Forum, Sprout e-Course on project management, or e.g. iEARN Youth Summit).
In her free time she is an avid traveler and amateur photographer, she loves spending time with her family and friends, and is active in sports, philosophy reading, and healthy lifestyle.
