About Me

I am a youth living in The Gambia. I have been working with and for youth for the past 10 years at various role and positions. since 2000, I was able to for a youth group in my community call Jokko (meaning in english conculting and networking) we were able to rais some funds for the youth group throuth proposal writing and bee keeping. In 2004 I was elected as a member of the Gambia National Youth Council (NYC) to date. the NYC is charge with the resposibility to advice government on youth matters, we also advocate fo youth empowerment and give youth capacity of all kind to enable them contribut to national development.

I am a trained teacher (197 to 1999) at the Gambia colledge. join the University of the Gambia (2000 t0 2004) and got a Bsc degree with a double marjoe in Biology and agriculture; work with an NGO call NATC from 2004 to 2009. at present I work with the National Disaster Management agency (NDMA) of the Gambia as on of their regional coordinators.
