 About Me |
I like to joke that I am the only Puerto Rican in Canada…I’m not. I recently moved from the States to Toronto and this year (2012) I have the opportunity to intern as TIGed Program Assistant.
I’m excited to use TIGed resources & technology to actively engage in issues such as migration, urban youth education, poverty, race, ethnicity & identity, human & animal rights, Latino representation in the US and the environment.
While I’m not rummaging through social media networks, blogs, and sites for info on today’s pressing issues and my own guilty pleasures (cute cats), I try to spend my time doing fun activities such as dancing, hiking, traveling and petting cute animals.
