自我介绍

I am building a solid reputation as an effective leader in the community and economic development field. I'm the youngest ever individual recipient of the Premier's Award of Excellence (Leadership). I am also on the board of Business Retention and Expansion International (BREI, U.S.A), Saskatchewan Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (SYPE, Canada), and Junior Achievement of Saskatchewan.

Recently, I was a keynote speaker at an International Youth Symposium hosted by the International Council on National Youth Policy in Goa, India. Speaking about youth-led community building, youth entrepreneurship, etc.

I was a founding member of a youth-network, and founding board member of a youth-led movement to save and revive a historical theatre in a small city in Canada.

Some new initiatives:
-i want to build a youth leadership network in Saskatchewan. We started this initiative by piloting the PX2: Youth Leadership Curriculum in Swift Current, SK in Oct, 2008 (the first in Canada)!
-I want to evolve this network into on-going pursuit of action (social activism) through Ashoka Youth Venture: Youth-led Social Entrepreneurship.

My other interests include: reading, volunteering, music, arts & culture, and most importantly, my family: Leanne, Noah, and our newborn Avi Felix.
