I hold a Bachelor Degree in Political Science and Masters in Public Policy and Administration from Bayero University, Kano. I have attended different trainings such as Political Advocacy e- Training ( Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS ), Reproductive Health and Peer Education Traini ng ( United Nations Children's Fund /National Youth Service Corps ), Peer Health Educators Training (Adolescent Health Project). I attended Alliance Francaise De Kano, where I took beginners classes in French. I published a book titled "SAVE OUR FUTURE". I took to writing (the book) because I felt teenagers needed to be educated on HIV/AIDS, the book was distributed free to young people in rural areas.
I am an accomplished researcher with several years of experience. I have spent some years doing research on issues affecting women in politics in Nigeria .I have also presented a number of papers to this effect, such as Women and Political Marginalization in Nigeria ; Politics Without Bitterness: Challenges of Nigerian Women in a Democratic Dispensation among others.
As the founder of SAVE OUR FUTURE my group members and I spend our weekend volunteering at various communities where we educates women on HIV/AIDS and issues affecting women and politics. We also educate illiterates on issues affecting humanity i.e. conflict, violence, rape etc. I am a member of several organizations such as International Political Science Association (IPSA); Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS; Talking It Global (TIG) and UNICEF Voice of Youth. I was one of the coordinators of the 2006 International AIDS Candlelight Memorial Service organized by Global Health Council and I hope to be one of the organizers in May 2007.
I joined Intermedia Group in 2005 as a Field Officer. I ran the Dutse office of the company in Jigawa State and made a success of it. I am currently at the head of our research team, where I have been providing critical materials needed to provide excellent services for our clients.
