About Me

I Dr. Rajan Bir Singh Thind, BDS from Government Dental College, Patiala, Punjab.has done Advanced Speciality Certification in Endodontics. Advanced Speciality Certification in Orthodontics from EADE Hungary. Special interest in Microscopic Endodontics in dentistry.
Dr Thind is a 1992 batch pass out of the Govt dental college patiala. He presented his first research paper at Punjab State Dental Conference at Patiala in 1991 on the subject of Anodontia .The paper was very well recieved by the evaluators. He has gained immensly from the various national & international conferences. He lectures extensively in various schools and colleges in Punjab on the importance of oral health and its awareness through his endeavour, 'mission smile'. It has been a very successful venture, considering that there are over 125 institutions like ICFAI & Frankfinn Institute of air hostess connected with his mission and gained from his expertise and experience as a practicing dentist. He was recently invited as a guest speaker at IDA Phagwara to present a paper on dental operatingProjection video microscope, which again was well recieved. With some excellent support of his wife DrGurinder Kaur he is running 3 dental clinics in 3 different area in Ludhiana very effectively. In his conviction to advancement through technology, optimal use of computers and multimedia for patient education and staff training are routinely used.
Dr Rajan Bir Singh is the first dentist to use Dental Operating Projection Video Microscope in Northern India. Thind dental clinic has a close association with Harvard School of Dental Medicine U.S.A & University of Manitoba Winnipeg Canada, with whom they are running a project, MISSION SMILE. It is to reach out to people and share with them an understanding of their dental health. In this programme the energies are directed toward wellness, and not treating sickness. Clients in this practice feel empowered to participate in making choices for themselves. They understand their current dental condition and are encouraged to clarified the level of dental wellness they wish to obtain.
