About Me

I was born and raised in Medford, Oregon. Obtained my Bachelor's Degree (1984) in Political Science from Southern Oregon University and my MBA (1989) from University of California, Irvine. After obtaining my MBA, I was lucky and landed a job in Bali with John Hardy (www.johnhardy.com). I moved to Bali, Indonesia in 1990 and have not returned to live in the USA since then. I lived in Indonesia from 1990 to 2002 (3 years in Bali and 9 years in Jakarta). I moved to Thailand in 2002 and still live here today. I speak (almost) fluent Indonesia and I'm working hard on my Thai (excellent basic conversational skills, but no deep philosophical conversations possible yet). I read and write Thai on a basic level and this is helping develop my speaking skills. Will post more later ... it's Sunday morning and I'm hungry ... time for breakfast!
