 About Me |
I’ve been teaching high school English for a long time, but never has it been this exciting. I love talking with students about what they’re reading and working with them about what they’re writing. I’m currently teaching sophomores and seniors in the public high school of our small town of Tiffin in northwest Ohio.
I have a terrific family. My husband, Ken, teaches biology at Heidelberg College. Our oldest daughter, Meryl, goes to Marietta College where she’s designed a creative studies major. Her younger sister, Lauren, is at Allegheny College pursing her interest in international studies. For some reason, our cat, Chi, doesn’t find it necessary to attend school.
Besides family and teaching, my other love is Camp Treetops in the Adirondacks of New York where I spend my summers. Check out the web site!
