About Me

I am the Assistant Outreach Director for Facing the Future where I manage the Peer Educator program, conduct professional development workshops, and support Facing the Future through other outreach efforts. I have studied, worked and volunteered in the fields of environmental review, education, and conflict resolution.

Facing the Future is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and motivating today’s students to be responsible stewards of tomorrow’s world. We develop and deliver hands-on lessons, textbooks, curriculum units, and professional development opportunities for educators that promote critical thinking on global issues, sustainability and positive solutions. Our curriculum is in used in all 50 U.S. states and over 100 countries by teachers and students in grades K-12, in undergraduate and graduate classes, and across multiple subject areas.
