David Bedoya is a student of the master's degree of Economics in the Javeriana University. While he was studding his career in economics, he was the director of the OGE (Students groups Organization) Between 2000 and 2002. He promoted the creation of many groups of different interest. David Bedoya has been working with country people of Colombia since 1998 until now.
Facing that the persons that have work don’t have enough time to buy his provisions, the prices of the big outlets are very high, and some times, the people don’t have the capacity and the means of transport to do it, and the problems of people’s unemployment, with his partner Carlos Guiot (Student of Economics in the Javeriana University) they decide to create a company called “EL CANASTO” (the basket) that deliver provisions to families, monasteries, convents, firms, schools, hospitals, kindergarten, giving a home delivery service. We buy the products from country people to avoid the intermediary.
