My practice is on hold for now, but here is a brief description: I worked mainly with an Indigenous client base on issues of governance and corporate law. I also volunteered with various other Alberta organizations including: the Northern Alberta Alliance on Race Relations and the Institute for the Advancement of Aboriginal Women. I have chosed to continue to work with the following organizations while doing my Masters: Learning Through the Arts (an arts education organization housed at the Royal Conservatory of Music) and the Canadian Commission for UNESCO (where I am Chair of the Sectoral Commission on Culture, Communication and Information). I have an interest in international law. For a number of years (until I passed the age of "youth") I did a lot of work with Indigenous youth in varied initiatives and organizations. I am interested in maintaining a role as a resource for Indigenous and Canadian Youth generally. In terms of my personal interests, I love music and played the violin for a number of years. I also love to sing, and had the awesome chance to do some of the back-up for War Party on two of their more recent albums. Hai Hai! |
