About Me   About Me
I was born in Lagos city but I grew up in Akure Ondo State Nigeria. At a very young age I imagined great things about life ranging from wanting to become an astraunant to an architect and then to a Plane pilot. I toyed with too many things in the house ranging from the Video machine to the TV and to Calculators in a quest to find the mystery behind this machines. Like most kids I dreamt of studying Aeronautics Engineering in some MIT-like varsity in the US. However, it was very obvious that dream was going to change the very first day I saw a PC then back in Secondary School (JSS 2) in some heavy security guarded rooms comprising of two 286 monochrome brand Computer Lab in my School at FGC Ido-ani, Ondo State, Nigeria. After then even tough we were not allowed to touch the computers, I had made up my mind to find out about this device and what makes it unique from every other machine.

Armed with determination, I enrolled for Computer School in 1995 where I touched the PC for the very first time as I wanted. In Computer School, I conquered DOS and QBasic programming language and then went for JAMB and battled my parents on why i should choose Electrical Engineering and instead of Computer Engineering. Evetually I took on Elect/Elect as they persuaded it was broader than computer eng which is true.

Graduated with a B.Sc Elect Eng. in OAU Ile-Ife. While in Obafemi Awolowo University, I anchored a project called Cowblock.net involving other friends. We built a small vision targeted at creating development synergies among campus geeks by setting up useful Computer Intranets within hostels. We did great and We loved it. We setup Video streaming servers, Gaming Servers, Database, Email and Instant Messaging on our network and we had over 20 PCs around the halls porting to us. We loved it and we are aggressively working to make it through to a full time recognized community. Our greatest challenge had being cordination and managment but we are still at it.

Even though I did not have time and PC to learn what i wanted to learn during higher institution as early as I wanted, I was still armed with the vision of being a competent developer and creating synergies for Africa to grow technologically.

So I took on the Java Language from 400 Level till date and created my Vision Vehicle out of it. I was posted for Youth Service Call (NYSC) to MTEL Nigeria Abuja to serve. After NYSC, MTEL did not immediatley hand any of us any job. I was mad at that because I had created and handled various initiatives that helped thier operation in so many ways.

Jobless for 4 months, I did not give up. I took on my old PC, dusted it and started working on a little idea that just bumped my way during the NYSC while serving with Nigerian Mobile Telecommunications. Subscribers needed more Value Added Services. So I built SMS2Email Solution for them. Eventually they sought me for Job.

However before they heard in MTEL that I built the Service. I proposed many other ideas along that period some of which eventually got into the ears of an enterprenuer who was interested in putting up an IT business together in Abuja. I Teamed up with another friend who is also an IT expert in networking and we Merged with a stable IT company in abuja and designated project Manager with shares in the merged company. By the time MTEL heard that I built the proposed SMS2Email they sought to bring me in but it was too late cuz the new company I joined in partnership had virtually bought me over. At age 25 I had my life-startup dream enviroment, house, tools and monthly take-home package and i was too satisfied as a starter in life.

I also run my private enterprise named DabarObjects Inc. I still own my ideas which are copyrighted under dabarObjects. I hope to export SMS interactive solutions to other african countries where GSM is becomming common.

I enjoy seeing young people relate with new ideas and I am packaged with the power to bring incense and inspiration to any IT vision. I enjoy Techie and Relationship Discussion Groups, Adore Music, Play Chess and Love Java.
