About Me

CHUKWUEMEKA, VINCENT CHUKWUEMEKA "CVC"; the first GKP-YFP Intern at Youth For Technology Foundation Owerri (YTF), Nigeria. He is a member of Royal Youth International (RYI), TakingITGlobal (TIG), and Global Knowledge Partnership (GKP). His enthusiasm, interest and work is engraved around "Digital Creativity, the Applications, Alternatives, and Enlightenment for Youths" and he strongly believes in the potentials that ICTs hold for Nigeria and other developing countries. He has been an active participant at national and international discussions on the need for Africa's inclusion in the Information Society, and on "Youths". He has volunteered in (YTF) and other organizations where he helps in enlightening youth in the use of Computer and Internet Accesses. He has also worked with several youths from diverse background and has consulted widely for numerous youth activities.

CVC hold certificates in Software Applications, and He has motives capped with working towards “youths for digital creativity A.D. 2015.” In recognition of his dynamic efforts, CVC was a recipient of the blessing, meeting so many diligent youths from around the world.

CVC has presently, CRAFTIES YOUTH SHELLS INITIATIVE where he co-ordinates efforts on the establishment of a mechanism that seeks to provide training in digital designs and mentorship opportunities for underserved youth in Nigeria through the provision of a training centre equipped with computers and Internet access. He likes discussing with youth groups on the effective use of Information and Communication Technologies for development.

CVC attended St Maria Gorretti Nursery/Primary School Orlu, Bishop Shanahan College Orlu and currently; he is studying Architecture in Imo State University, Owerri. His career objective is to build an efficient, impacting and world-class career in e-Design and e-Commerce; in the areas of Consulting, National Development & Global Participation, Training and Deployment; through Personal Development, Team Work and Corporate Synergy.

CVC’s work experience includes; Architecture Student Apprentice, Techteen Instructor and GKP intern; where he helps in enlightening youths in the basic ICT skills, web designing and development, and other software applications. CVC has a project designing some websites under CRAFTIES , of which are; www.epu.com, and www.xtreme.com.
