 About Me |
Voluntary Service in Nepal is an extremely rewarding and life-changing experience. Upon arrival of volunteer, and throughout their stay, volunteers will receive a warm welcome from the Nepali people, who are famous for their honesty and hospitality. They will live and work in one of the world’s most diverse countries, with geography that divides from the peak of the Himalayas to the tropical heat of the flat Terai; and socially, from the chaotic Kathmandu to the tranquility of the many rural villages.
CUS-Nepal (Community Upliftment Society-Nepal) is a non-religious, non-profit and non-governmental social development organization. Registered with the District Administration Office under the society act and also been affiliated with the SWC (Social Welfare Council). CUS-Nepal is a forum for the development practitioners and social activists. CUS-Nepal is dedicated to the alleviation of poverty of rural children, youth and communities of Nepal. CUS-Nepal has been mandated by the Nepal Government to play an advisory role in the development of community. CUS-Nepal recognizes the values that the survival, protection and development of rural children and youth are development imperatives and the integral to human development.
