A 25 year old, an aspiring volunteer, who dedicates time to educate on HIV & AIDS. A tough topic to handle but I try to inspire youth volunteers to raise awareness in Brunei.
Together with other youth leaders, I lead a number of volunteers, to be recognised as an award-winning prominent non-profit organisation.
I am also interested in life skills, teambuilding, public speaking and youth empowerment.
Coming from a single-parent and the eldest child in the family, I have developed from a quiet child to a prominent youth leader. My dad, teachers & friends influenced me a lot, teaching him ranging from love, respect, wisdom, friendship and values.
Believing young people can work hand-in-hand with adults, I see young people as not the future only but also as the answer to many questions that we may have now. The likes of wars, conflict, world issues, national issues etc, all those can be improved with young people's energy, passion and vision.
Whenever I do voluntary or community work, Michael Jackson inspires me! Despite all of The King of Pop's drama, his energy and passion when he is performing, is what I try to replicate whenever I sing or dance, organise trainings, volunteer, perform or even talking to young people.
