 About Me |
A graduate in Diploma in Youth Development Work. Currently the President in Brunei Darussalam AIDS Council, a Non-Profit, volunteer based Non-Government Organisation raising awareness on HIV & AIDS and its related matters. Working full time as a teacher in Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation.
Volunteered with the AIDS Council since 2004, Iswandy has led a number of successful leadership and peer-to-peer programme, for the Council with the likes of HIV Awareness Programme for Peers & Youth (HAPPY), LESTARI (Life Skills Training), BLISS (BDAC Life Skills Graduates) and Penyinar Club.
Iswandy has attended or invited to various programmes related to youth work, scouting & HIV/AIDS in Brunei, Malaysia, India, Japan, Korea, Laos, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand and Belgium.
Besides the President, he is currently appointed with positions that he hold on a voluntary basis, namely Youth LEAD Focal Point for Brunei Darussalam and Commonwealth Youth Ambassador for Positive Living.
Personally, has been awarded Youth Service Award, presented by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah during National Youth Day 2010.
