i am an RN from the premier state university of the philippines.aftre graduation,i was fortunate enough to serve in the philipine general hospital.after a year of seemingly unjust workload,i craved for something new....it was then i became a street nurse for the doctors w/o borders organization.it was such an experience!imparting health knowledge,organizing and mobilizing the kids.most importantly,seeing for the first time the world through the eyes of hungry,sick and oftentimes abused streetchildren.
after the expiration of my contract,i migrated to the states and presently working for a prestigious baltimore-based hospital.and btw,did i mention that i sooo miss the streets of manila? :)
