 About Me |
Having never had a chance to experience the world through travel or work, there is nothing exceedingly interesting about my biography...as of yet! However, I completed my undergraduate studies in human geography at the University of Victoria in B.C. and am currently a Masters candidate in geography at the University of Memorial in St. John's Newfoundland. I will be examining the cultural and social dimensions of poverty in metropolitan areas in North America. In addition, I have joined a group of ambitious young ladies in creating an organization called 'The Peace Report', a not-for-profit organization that seeks to spread awareness of all aspects of peace building worldwide in a manner that will appeal to those of all levels of education and interests. Look for it soon! In relation to this project I am searching for contacts abroad for research and documentary purposes. If you know of any issues or projects, however small they may seem, that you want recognized in an online forum setting, please contact me and I'll be happy to start collaborating! My specialties include coastal water resource management and other resource related community management issues.
