A graduate of the Institute of Law, Peace and Development (IDPD, University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis) and Robert Schuman University (Strasbourg III), she holds a Masters degree in Law and Practice of International Solidarity, and in Humanitarian Law. Before her assignment in Brazzaville, Céline Lemmel was an intern respectively at the French Embassy in the Netherlands and then the NGO “Enda Prospectives et Dialogues Politiques” (Enda Diapol) in Dakar, Senegal. Afterward, she assumed responsibilities at the NGO “Les Mêmes Droits pour Tous” in Conakry (Guinea) as an assistant coordinator. In addition to her professional activities, Céline Lemmel took active parts in associations, including “Young People We Care” (YPWE), with which she was first associated as a UN Online Volunteer. French being her mother tongue, Ms. Lemmel is fluent in English and also studied German, Dutch and Lingala.
