 About Me |
Cameron Neil is an energetic, young and experienced youth and development professional, entrepreneur and animatuer. Cameron has created various organisations, networks and organisations in the social and community sector, and led, supported and delivered youth development services in the government, community and business sectors. He has a particular focus and passion for those people marginalised within society (which, he reflects in more philosophical and existential moments, is pretty much all of us, in any multitude of ways), and how the game might be changed so that all are 'free' - both the oppressed and the oppressor (here he owes a debt to Paolo Freire). Cameron thinks too much (and sometimes, too little), has a strong research background (and a pesky Protestant work ethic), is becoming more interested in writing and communications, and his work increasingly moves more in to international contexts. He is 32 and lives in Melbourne, Australia with his wife and play mate Tam.
