Key qualifications: Caleb Thole has a Bsc. Public Health, and enrolled for Master Degree at Pebbles Hill University on International Development and Relations. He is specialised in health economics, rural development especially in the area of project planning and management and Research. He is currently Managing Director for the Caleb Vision Investment and Head of Program Global Hope Mobilization a local Civil Society Organization, also proprietor of private consulting firm that provides policy advice, participatory development, capacity building and strategic development management services in various sectors especially in rural development, gender and HIV/AIDS, natural resources and agriculture. Professionally, Caleb has 6 years of professional work experience in the fields of pro-poor project planning and management, family planning, HI/AIDS, gender analysis and mainstreaming, poverty and food security analysis, project planning, monitoring and evaluation. He has a high understanding go MDGs having used them as reference point for most of his policy level work. In his entire working career, his major responsibility has been to design, implement rural development projects, policy formulation, and consultancy in rural development management, social work agriculture and the environment. He has worked for both national and international organizations where he has been involved in designing projects and implementing them. These has provided him with vast skills and experience on design and analysis of projects, research studies as well as a better understanding of the pertinent issues relating to hHealth, poverty, food security, agriculture and environment in Malawi. He has also participated in the development of the Malawi Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper and other policy papers and sits on so many Boards. , where he worked hand in hand with, Caleb is currently working with Global Hope Mobilization and runs and manage the Caleb Vision Investment a private learning and consulting facility specialised in project planning and management and based in Lilongwe. Through this initiative Caleb has been assisting government, NGOs, donor agencies, faith-based organisations and the private sector in technical assistance with project management.
