About me
Charles has thirteen years of nonprofit experience. He started out with the Nigerian Red Cross Society in his high school and then proceeded to the Voluntary Aid detachment after high school. He joined the Omega Promotions as an undergraduate where he later became the president in his final year. He founded the Noble Missions for Change Initiative in 2005 to provide relevant information to young people about healthy living, career management, information technology, amongst other issues and to promote the Millennium Development Goals. Through this initiative, he has touched several less privileged in the society especially orphans. Charles has done several other voluntary works with the Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS (GYCA) with support from UNFPA such as the screening of ‘Love in Time of HIV/AIDS’, free HIV Counseling and Testing, etcetera. He is also a local organizer of World AIDS Day, International AIDS Candlelight Memorial, International Volunteers Day, International Youth Day, amongst other global activities. Over the years, he has gained experience in people management, time and fund management. His experience has given him strong managerial and leadership skills as well as becoming very familiar with issues affecting young people in Nigeria and beyond. Currently, he is the Health Issues Volunteer Team Coordinator.
