Co-Founded a nonprofit organization 'Bighelp For Education' (www.bighelp.org) in the year 2002 to help underprivileged and needy children in India to continue their education. Founded a merit award 'Nannidar Award For Excellence' for encouraging the meritorious students in Andhra Pradesh, India. Provided hostel facility in special needs school in his home town where 26 physically and mentally handicapped children are being catered. Strengthened Government public schools that are providing formal education in rural areas in India by providing basic facilities like drinking water, plantation, sports equipment, teaching & lab equipment. Helped numerous orphan children and child labors to continue their schooling.
As of Dec 2004, Bighelp is sponsoring the education of 80 students through 'Sponsor A Child' program, helping 2800 students in government public schools receive quality education through 'Adopt a school' program, and helping 3500 students to compete for merit awards through 'Merit Awards' program.
Most of us aware that there are lot of children in this world who suffer from poor education, malnutrition and lack of encouragement. We all know that worst fate is reserved for them if they continue to suffer the same. Instead of going to school, their childhood is lost as child labor, rag picker, shoeshine boy, field labor or employed to do household chores. Instead of a pencil or doll, their hands get rough with work in innocent age. should we leave such children to their own fate ?. If we love humanity, we should do something to help these children pursue a better life. Otherwise what is the meaning of our life ?.
