About Me

I was a former political activist turned nationalist entrepreneur and peace advocate. At 49, I am president and CEO of ExcaliburCNG Hauling, Storage & Distribution, Inc., and runs my own PR consulting firm & insurance agency, Excalibur PR Mgt. Consultants. I founded the Centre for P.E.A.C.E. and sits as its executive director.

I joined the Philippine revolutionary movement in 1970 and lived with the poor for sometime, turning my back on my scholarships and academic pursuit. I was arrested and imprisoned twice during martial law at a young age of 16 and was tortured by my captors. Finding differences in methods and principles, I left the communist-led underground after more than five years of involvement.

Today, despite the demands of business, I try to find time in serving worthwhile causes. I am webmaster of NGV Forum Philippines, which advocates for a natural gas powered public transport. I chartered the Rotary Club of Masambong in Quezon City and is serving my second term as club president, promoting peace consciousness among the youth. I am now preparing to launch propeace.ph, a pro-peace web community that will cater primarily to the Philippines.

I vowed to myself to continue to cherish the idealism and pursue the vision of my youth - a better society where people can live in peace and harmony, and where everyone can have an equal chance for self-fulfillment and growth.
