 About Me |
i'm half japanese, half canadian. grew up mostly in asia (korea, japan, india, thailand, cambodia) and then the last little while i've been in canada (montreal, vancouver).
my interests include art, social activism, gender & development issues, the environment.. and independent media (documentary film, radio, photography, etc.). learning learning learning.
my current job is at the national film board of canada, as associate producer at the Pacific/Yukon Studio.
I spend a lot of my time working on a project called "Our World" which is working with aboriginal youth living in remote communities. They create short films in first language. check it out: http://nfb.ca/ourworld.
