About Me

Wakibu Bunnya, is a freelance engineer. He has done graduate studies in Geographical Information systems, engineering, cadastral and topographic surveys from Makerere University, Uganda. His special interest is management, open learning, community development and social entrepreneurship. His leadership and organisational skills have been tested and proven for the last four years at various top level youth organisations like AIESEC, an international organisation that activates youth leadership. With a strong commitment to social transformation, Wakib is one of the founders of Save Our Community a local grassroot organisation making education possible for over twenty children between 8 – 14 years of age in the environs of Kampala, Uganda. He is one of the grantees of the Youth Action Fund who conceptualised and is implementing a one year $4500 project aimed at promoting youth participation in democractic governance. He is currently the Program Head of Open Space Centre an organisation that works to inspire youth visibility in development in uganda
