Over Mij

Born at Rombo, Tarakea Kasirwa and studied at the then Nanjara Extended Primary school from standard one to standard three. The school was promoted to a secondary school and was given the name of Namfua Sec. School. So I was obliged to move to a newly constructed school known as Kasirwa Primary School- lack me, it was a stone-throw distance from my home. thereafter I joined St. James Seminary for junior and senior secondary school, then entered Mgambo JKT for a year of national service (awaful huh!). Later I joined University of Dar es Salaam to pursue B.A. in economics. upon graduation I was employed as a Tutorial Assistant at the Open University of Tanzania - the first Economics staff. Thereafter I pursued further studies in Economic (M.A Economics) at the International University of Japan (IUJ). While at IUJ Japan I was promoted to a level of Assistant Lecturer for OUT. I was then promoted to the level of Lecturer, while I was busy parking for academic trip to Southern New Hampshire University for PhD studies. My research interest is Equity Capital Management strategies in Cooperatives

I'm married to my beutiful wife Lucila Michael Mkamangi Mambishi who currently accomplished her Msc. in Community Economic Development at Southern New Hampshire University and is doing her second masters in Business Administration (MBA). Our Daughter Millicent Alhamis is pursuing her elementary school studies at St. Kasmir School, Manchester New Hampshire, while her sister, Melissa Bernice Mkamali Alhamis is learning tactics of surviving at her age.

We are missing our humble but beautful and lovely home at Kimara Baruti - Dar es Salaam. However we have a number of lovely ones too who are always keeping it warm.
