He is a member of several youth driven networks and alliances that includes African Youth and Adolescent Network on Population and Development (AFRIYAN), TakingITGlobal, Global Youth Action Network (GYAN), Global Coalition on HIV/AIDS (GYCA). Desmond has written, presented abstracts/papers and participated on youth development, few of his works includes, . He enjoys working a multi-cultural and diverse team that comprise of dynamic young people and adults alike. Desmond is presently doing his second degree in psychology at University of Lagos (UNILAG) and was one time work with some nongovernmental organisations such as Youth Action Rangers of Nigeria (YARN) as its Program Officer, also participating at other related works within the organisation. He has managed some project activities and possesses strong project management skills. Desmond presently is an MTV Staying Alive Foundation Awardee implementing the HIV & AIDS Affects Us project under LEND Presently a co-recipient of the MTV Staying Alive foundation 2007 award.
