 Involved in various HIV/AIDS education projects within several countries in Africa. The main goal is to increase knowledge concerning the virus and foster a sense of community responsibility concerning the response:
Children's Home: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Resource Sharing Program

Solar Power Project

 Creation of new articles, such as research articles, but also creating new methods of presenting similar ideas (such as creating dramas or songs or poems using the already existing resources).
 Liaise with donors, and partners in the region;
 Research background materials for the project activities;
 Assist the Director of “Working to Empower” in developing effective management and reporting tools;
 Drafted correspondence relating to program activities; classified, followed up, responded to requests for information;
 Assisted in identifying funding opportunities and in mobilizing resources to support HIV/AIDS programs and projects;
 Interacted with UN agencies, Government organizations working on HIV/AIDS issues and cultivated stronger links among these stakeholders;
 Assisted in production of advocacy tools such as baseline research and surveys, translation and adaptation of core UN HIV/AIDS documents
 Provided administrative and logistical support to the Program Director;
 Coordinated the activity of 192 volunteers;
 Liaised with government, NGO and donor agencies regarding the program activities, drafted correspondence;
 Researched on HIV/AIDS;
 Promoted cooperation among local and international NGOs and governmental institutions in the area of HIV/AIDS
 Developed and disseminated regular project update;
 Translated documents.
 Creation of new documents/resources relating to HIV/AIDS continually.
