 About Me |
Kia ora (Hi )everyone at TIG. If you had read 'about me', things have changed slightly. I still have four children and a husband (tee hee), but now I have completed my university degree and am teaching at an alternative education school in my town. I teach year 9, 10 and sometimes 11, (13 years up to 15 years). It has it's rewards along with its challenges. My family comes from a multi-cultural heritage (New Zealand Maori, Spanish portugese, Irish and English) I believe that knowing where one comes from is vitally important to my development. The importance of knowing where you stand as a person is something that I teach to my students. I love cooking, gardening/garden design, reading, when I get the chance and outdoor activities. Most of all, my family is the most important. My husband has completed a Dip. in Forestry management,focusing on bio-diversity and harvesting using the lastest technology and hopefully will get a deserving job in the near future..
