 About Me |
I am an artist and university lecturer. I have been a practicing visual artist for over 20 years and have been educating adults for 15 years, working in the areas of contemporary arts practice, community development, Australian Indigenous adult education, and I am currently lecturing in communication, cultural studies, and visual culture.
I have an international research project Big Blue Ball: Pictures, people, place. It investigates the nature of meaning making and the significance of creativity and creative practice in setting up sites for shared understanding in a contemporary and globally interactive world, thereby enhancing the potential for breaking down cultural barriers.
