About Me

My name is Andrew Kondoh. I was born in the eastern part of Sierra Leone kenema. I attended both my primary and secondary school in Kenema. I latter traveled to the southern part of Sierra Leone (BO Town) were I worked as a volunteer for United Nations High Commission for Refugees Sierra Leone. My work was to register and take pass post pictures and issue ID cards to Liberian refugees for three weeks. I latter traveled to the capital city Freetown where I worked for International Education and Resource centre iEARN Sierra Leone as a volunteer for one year. Latter, I worked as an Administrator for War Child Holland in Sierra Leone for three months. After war child, I Studied Computer software and Internet surfing for one year 1yr at West Africa Dot Net Freetown Sierra. I also did my working experience there for 6 months. Latter I was employed for another 6 months.

During those years at iEARN, War Child and West Africa Dot Net, I was helping my fellow youths in the area of ICT. Presently As the country Director for my organization as the same time I am working as a Café supervisor at Sylvia Blyden Dot Com 24 hours internet services.
I am the country director for (Heroic Pillars) Advocacy for the young in crises Sierra Leone as said early on. I found this organization just after the ten year war that wracked the lives of young Sierra Leonean. Even though it is not easy but I go all out to teach my fellow young youths about ICT and other related issues. 2004, these young youths engaged in a 45min movie titled the (Scarlet stain). It’s a story about how young people contacts HIV and how parents and friends should treat PLWHA's. 2005, we again engaged in a documentary making about girl child education and submitted it for a competition in England. That same year, we did a song titled (send your girl child to school)

I love working with young people particularly in areas related to crises.
