About Me   About Me
"A talented and energetic young man and a native of Nigeria. A second-year student of IT in one of South Africa's universities of technology and driven by the cheer passion for increasing productivity within and outside the IT industry."

One major reason why I have chosen Information Technology as a profession is mainly to get involved in various lucrative IT projects to create many opportunities for companies, businesses and numerous establishments ranging from educational and research institutions to government organisations across many countries in Africa, Europe, Asia and America.

I have chosen to take IT as a career and use it as the medium to convey my vision of becoming a successful entrepreneur, an efficient innovator and an excellent leader. I have read, observed and studied the impact that a few renowned IT personalities have made to improve the future of the IT industry and their efforts at extending the limits of successes in the world of IT and I aspire to follow similar career paths and approaches to achieving new goals and fulfilling my accomplishments.

The aspect of Information Technology which most intrigues me is Software Development. Software Development generally focuses on the production of simple user-friendly applications to advanced software application. The software products developed in many IT projects ranges from database applications to spreadsheets, and some may be complex mathematical, engineering or financial applications which can be developed using a variety of programming languages. Developing computer software may involve working in a productivity section of a development team or simply working alone on a small software development project.

Information Technology involves a lot more than developing only computer software, it also requires the use of computer hardware and the knowledge of computer hardware helps to identify what kinds of software to develop for use within and outside the IT industry. Information Technology should also be viewed as the knowledge-base used to improve communication in today’s modern society and it relies mainly on the use of computer technology to transform the way people and businesses interact with one another to achieve a common goal.

With the little experience acquired as an IT student, I have grown to understand the need for many establishing organisations to invest in IT as a means of boosting their business prospects, increasing their productivity and providing more employment opportunities for many experienced and skilled IT professionals.

I expect that my working in an IT industry would bring about a few challenges and I am prepared to face them with a keen interest to learn from every experience and convert them to gain in any work-related activity that I indulge myself in throughout my IT career.
