About Me

I have completed Masters in Environmental Management from Nepal and currently studying Masters in Applied Conflict Transformation Studies program, a joint initiative of Action Asia and UK based NGO Responding to Conflict.

I began my career in professional organization as a volunteer in one local NGO working for environment. Then in December 2004 I with my few friends registered youth organization named “Yatra”. We are working in the different youth issues mostly in youth and the environment.

From April 2006 I am working as a programme officer in Nagarik Aawaz (The voice of the citizen) a local NGO working for peace building and conflict transformation.

My major responsibilities are to design programmes, write proposals, edit and publish the bi-annual publication and maintain our website. As Nagarik Aawaz is working for peace and directly with the conflict victims I have to frequently visit the district highly affected by armed conflict.
