Over Mij

A graduate of CUNY-Hunter in NYC majored in Political Science and French.
Recently returned from being on fellowship in Hyderabad, India doing research on former girl child labourers and their struggle for an education. Currently I work in fellowships administration at the SSRC.
I believe that universal norms exist - specifically human rights. I am not sure what equality means in the practical sense - and if it is possible given contemporary insitutions and structures.
I wish I would live a life free of want - and I expect it will be my lifelong work to achieve some respectable level of humility - and to find a vocation that will allow me to do service to others that is meaningful to them.
