About Me

Betsy Vourantoni is the Founder and President of Health with Herbs Inc. Her licenced Holistic centre has welcomed thousands of people through its door since Betsy Vourantoni founded it in 1983. Her two sons were each born with severe health problems, which required them to be hospitalized for months at a time and receive extensive medical care. Betsy feels very blessed that she was always given the best medical attention. She feels that without the medical field, her children would not be alive today. In spite of all the medical care, her children's health continued to be extremely challenged.

Betsy's desire to help her children led her around the world on a search for answers. After examining many forms of health care, she found the solution in IRIDOLOGY examinations, combined with herbal supplements, nutritional support & rigid dietary changes. Her children's health improved dramatically and this left her with a burning desire and constant inspiration to help others.
Her Mission Statement is:

"Helping People To Healthier and Happier Living!"

Betsy is a licensed practitioner who combines a wealth of experience with a vast array of treatments including Iridology, Herbology & Nutrition, Reflexology and Wisdom Development. In addition, she offers a wide variety of supplemental services, including Reiki and Cupping.

She also enjoys sharing her knowledge by teaching at The Institute of Holistic Nutrition and The Learning Annex plus on-going classes at her office.

Betsy has studied with some of the best health educators/practitioners in Toronto, California, Boston, Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. Also Betsy has studied at The Herbal and Wholistic Association of Canada and The Canadian College of Natural Healing in Ottawa. Among the numerous certifications she has received are:

* Dr. Bernard Jensen's certificate in iridology, nutrition & holistic healing
* The National Iridology Research Association's certificate on European Clinical Iridology
* Dr. Anne Wigmore's Living Food Lifestyle and Well-Being certificate from the Hippocrates Clinic in Boston
* The Jagga Institute's certification on Deep Muscle Therapy and Colonic Therapy
* Dr. John F. Demartini in Houston, TX

Betsy is a co-founder and executive board member of the Iridology Associates (I.A), an association that lobbies for the recognition and education of Iridology.

Betsy's knowledge continues to expand, driven by her passion to get people well. In addition to many wonderful teachers, Betsy has acquired 20 years of invaluable personal knowledge through her own, her sons' and her clients' experiences.
