In 2005 I had a teacher who started a study group called International Observatory for Sustainable Development. Before joining the group I had no idea about the concept of environment and neither the meaning of sustainable development. This was a very important starting pointing for me. The group and the discussions made me become a real passionate about environment and development and after that experience I tried to focus the next ones on the same area. In 2007, I was selected to participate on the TUNZA International Youth Conference that happened in Germany. In this conference I was elected the TUNZA Youth Advisor for Latin America and Caribbean for a two-year mandate (2007-2009). Besides that I'm also part of the Youth Leadership Team (YLT) of the Earth Charter for the same mandate period (2007-2009). I believe that this is going to be one of the most exciting and inspiring experience a young activist can have. I'm also member of AIESEC (an international students' organization) and through this organization I had the opportunity to go to Romania and work with development in a poor community in a city called Galati. I love being part of AIESEC because they are very active, friendly and responsable pleople. We learn a lot together. I like meeting new people, I love my parents, my brother, my sister, my dogs (I have two), my friends, my boyfriend...I like travelling, I like watching movies, I like going to beach and swimming. I love my life!! =) I think that´s it! Warmest regards from Brazil! Gaby =)
