À propos de moi

I was born 1979, December 25, in the middle of the Netherlands. I grew up in a small village, went to grammar school and started my studies Industrial Engineering and Management at the University of Twente, Enschede, NL. My student life was characterized by an active involvement in several associations, biggest one was AEGEE. First on the local level, later on on the European level, I was involved in the organization of several European events, like a conference about the future of European higher education and several European training events for the members of AEGEE. On the European level, I joined the board (Comite Directeur, CD) in Brussels, working in a team with 8 other students from different places in Europe. This was a great experience and after half a year of being treasurer in the board, I decided to move on to the position of President, my current (Feb 2003) job.
