 About Me |
As my name Bastian, I'm actively involved in social working as a volunteer in 2 Civil Society Organizations Network and a Civil Society Organization itself. I'm a board member in Indonesian Youth Network for Millennium Development Goals, a trustee member in Our Voice that advocate for the gay right, and as interim representative for Global Call Action Against Poverty Youth for Southeast, North, Central Asia and the Pacific.
My background is on Environmental Study but since 2005, almost of my organization activity related to the Gender Equality and Human Right Advocacy, especially for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual/Transgender, Intersex, and Queer (LGBTIQ) from series of workshop, films festival, and parliament approaches.
Lately after join to Millennium Development Goals campaign. Several activity I have been involved, such as UNFCCC, Environmental Film festival, AIDS Prevention Project, and many more.
We have vision to be youth movement to achieve Millennium Development Goals by 2015 through youth awareness. Our biggest annual event is always held on October 17, The Poverty Eradication Days.
