This young person has been on the long run to change the HIV/AIDS face present around world specifically in the Gambia. He founded his first HIV/AIDS and children organization since when he was 12 years old. He is a poet and has written many poems to be published soon and an actor; who believes in expressing his thoughts and inspiring change through poetry and drama. He recently turned to 18 years. He has been working together with the Gambian Network of PLHIVs as a volunteer. He does home based care services for orphaned and/or infected children as well YPLHIVs in his country. He works closely with Young people living with disabilities to promote their rights and respect within the Gambia. Children living with HIV/AIDS and/or disabilities are his best friends and he cares for them most. He is presently serving as the second focal child to the child protection alliance in the Gambia. He is presently the coordinator of Youths against-the Gambia. He is a youth member of the International AIDS Society 2008 -2010. Throughout his educational span he has been a distinction student with leadership roles entrusted to him. He had laid many foundations stones of positive existing youth and children organizations in the Gambia. He had served as chairperson of national HIV/AIDS positive living committee composed of UN agencies, government agencies, CSOs, PLHIVs and other actors in the Gambia. He is Mohammed Lamarana Barry also known as Barry. He is absolutely friendly, tolerant and open to any person on this very earth.
