 About Me |
Currently I am living in New Delhi, India for the next 2 years as a VSO Volunteer working as a Fundraising Consultant for a UK based Alliance group. I am helping to coordinate the India NGO Awards for 2009, which my organisation started in 2006 and is now partnered with the Rockefeller Foundation. I look forward to having a more corporate role here in India, which will be a challenge from my grass-roots background.
Previously I lived in the Cambodian town of Poipet, along the Thai border, working as a volunteer. My goal there was to capacity build the management staff of my Khmer Organisation to increase their management, administration and english writing abilities. I also worked a lot with the community in developing project proposals, forming target groups and creating baseline surveys.
Back in Australia I volunteered in my community for many years whilst finishing my degree in International Business. I do plan on studying for my masters in a few years.
