Being a student of the united world colleges and a member of TIG has helped me to understand the cultures of other countries. This in general, has enabled to look at issues affecting the world in another perspective. TIG is a place for me to express my opinions on issues and also get to learn about other peoples opinions. I hope through the opportunites given to me by my school to organise projects such as designing parts of websites for non-governmental organisations and also to do fundraisind for children in third world countries
I am currently one of the leaders of African Union, an activity in my college that aims at enlightning people about current political, economic and social issues affecting Africa. We also aim at organising Workshops for the college community to give deeper insights about issues affecting Africa. It is hoped that through this we can in a small way, to solve some of the issues facing Africa as a whole.
