Age: 21 Location: Abuja, Nigeria Olumide Idowu is co-foundering Development in Africa. Over the past one year he has been involved in leading youth advocacy efforts mainly around the Millennium Development Goals. Olumide was recently selected alongside another Nigerian youth to represent his community at the British Council in Abuja Nigeria. Youth Leadership Summit in Abuja Nigeria. He has also traveled extensively across Nigeria and some West African countries, where he delivers lectures and presentations and offers training for other young people. Notably among such events is the First British Council conference on HIV/AIDS in Abuja Nigeria, A youth organization (Federation of African Student Union) undergraduate of University of Abuja, and is a well know youth activist. To be a leader in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility, Social Entrepreneurship, Non Profit Management, International Development and Environmental Sustainability, We are going to actively improve the World I am excited to announce the Formation of our Newest African Organization!!! BRIEFLY ABOUT ME: I am a Nigerian citizen, a Bachelors' degree student in Statistics from University of Abuja, Abuja Nigeria. I am a visionary and my desire is to help my fellow youths help themselves, not that I have ultimate capacity but because I have faith that ways are possible to make every youth in the world to live a life better than he is living right now, including me. YOUTH IN GENERAL: My beloved fellow youths allover the world, it is my pleasure to interact with you during this information age. Remember, our world went through the industrial age. It is now time we learnt from the passed to improve our future. I am very sure every one on earth needs the following in life: Money, Fame, Power, Contentment, Personality, Peace of mind, happiness, to mention but most important so as to assume total success. It is high time we, therefore, used our BRAINS to THINK and attain not only security but financial freedom because security works just for NOW while freedom works for generations. With this, all the above will be attained. I know we face challenges but let us take every challenge as an opportunity. We shall make a difference in the world. I love you all. When every youth is happy, then conflicts, rebellions, poverty, famine, corruption, disease, the current high unemployment rate shall be no more. This message is particularly for my continent, AFRICA and Nigeria in particular. One studies for close to or even more than 20 years aiming at attaining ultimate education, then roams the streets looking for jobs, without even at any single time thinking of an alternative, just because he was nurtured to be a job seeker throughout his 20-year education.
